I didn't believe it either.
Last week I watched this video where some guy said: "Post everything 3 times."
As in, literally copy-paste repost the same video every 2 months.
My first thought was:
"This is some fairy tale BS you tell beginners to keep them posting."
But I couldn’t let it go.
So I went digging for receipts
I needed proof this either worked or was complete BS.
And my oh my,
was I wrong.
Look what I found:
This creator post the same video 6 times.
This creator posted the same video 2 times (it did even better the second time)
This creator posted the same video 3 times (and they all got millions of views)
These are just a small sample of the examples I found.
Take a breather, I need one too.
But you're probably wondering: why the hell does this work??
After some digging, I found:
Your videos are only shown to a small fraction of your audience.
So if it flopped the first time - it just means that tiny fraction wasn’t interested.
if it went viral? still, most of your followers haven’t seen it yet
So by reposting every 2-3 months, the people who already saw it, forgot.
The ones who didn’t see it - get a second chance
